This blog served as my creative outlet while planning our April 2009 wedding. Planning our wedding events has been a creative, challenging and rewarding experience. I benefited greatly from the blogosphere in this journey and I hope I can inspire other bride's with theirs.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my wedded bliss. Feel free to leave a comment. I love to see other blogs and hear about fun creative ideas.
I love that you have a vintage ring:) My something old will be my e-ring as well and I am pinning my dad's wedding ring under my dress. He passed away 6 years ago so I will have a part of him very close to me that day.
My e-ring is an heirloom/vintage ring that belonged to my Father's mother. I am positive it will not be my only "old" item. I am sure I will have some of her other jewelry as well.
I am still figuring out my something old...I might try to tie my stepfather's mother's engagement ring that my mother now wears to my bouquet in some fashion.
I bookmarked your photo to use as inspiration on our wedding day! I love that pose :) My ring is 4 generations old on my mom's side of the family - I love when things have a special meaning or story.
Oh, I can't believe you're only 4 weeks away!! That's so exciting! And I love the idea of black dresses with colorful wraps! That's awesome, and will compliment your scheme so well. Plus, the ladies all end up with a black dress (which they can probably wear again) and a cool new wrap!
My "something old" was actually a few things: my vintage pin on my dress, a vintage bracelet, and one of my grandmother's handkerchiefs wrapped around my bouquet.
