My latest inspirations:
Photos from LaBohemme Etsy shop.
I love the vintage clips in the center and the turquoise colors. I went to the craft store this weekend to buy supplies for my DIY hair clip project. Only $13 for a bunch of stuff - most of which I will likely return. Otherwise it would be the gaudiest clip ever if I use it all. But I am not sure I can get a look like these above or like this or these.
Any tips for a DIY version?

Oh wow--- those are very bold, and awesome!
I love those! The top one is so bold and colourful. The bottom one is still fun, potentially your something blue.
The first one is gorgeous! I love it!
Definitely fun and very pretty! :)

I like the colors! Can't wait to see you DIY!
I love the ones that look like flowers, but are actually made of feathers!
Those are so beautiful. So fun and striking, a bit modern a bit vintage...just perfect!
Both are fab!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one!!! How great is that???
I'd just sit down and try it all out. I know budgets are tight - ours was!! - but it's $13, so if you mess it up, it's not a huge deal. I find that sometimes the biggest block to creativity is the fear of trying or the fear of messing up. At least that's what happens with me.
And don't worry about it being "gaudy" - most of them, when you really look at them, kind of are. But when they're in your hair, that's what makes them look so good!
